This software allows healthcare providers to find and communicate with other providers across a variety of fields. It includes a guided search system that helps you find specific specialists or agencies to meet your patients' needs. Additionally, there are resources for file transfer, status updates, and messaging about specific patients that will make communication efficient and effortless (all of which are HIPAA- and HITECH-compliant).
There are several different account types you can have. The first is a send-only account, which allows you to access the provider database, send referrals, and message external providers. This account type is completely free and does not require you to enter any credit card information to register. The second type does everything indicated above and also allows you to receive referrals. The final kind of account is receive-only, which is mostly useful for large facilities that do not routinely make external referrals.
Accounts that are capable of receiving referrals will cost $5/month, or $50/year if subscribing annually, beginning after your initial 6-month free trial is complete. All subscriptions are renewed automatically and can be canceled at any time. Should you decide to cancel, this will become effective as of the date your subscription is scheduled to renew (i.e., no backsies for any amounts you have already paid). Your initial free trial period does not require entry of credit card information, but if you haven't signed up by approximately month 5 we'll probably send you some annoying emails in an attempt to get you to do so. These will always come directly from us, and we will not share your information with any external entity for marketing or any other purposes.
We think our product solves some pressing needs for the healthcare industry, particularly in terms of communication between offices. If you're reading this then you're likely already aware that the current model relies primarily on fax machines to transmit official documents…You may be less aware that a crude form of this technology was originally developed in 1843 for use with telegraph lines, and then refined and popularized in the 1970s using larger bandwidth telephone lines. In either case, our response is – REALLY?!?!?!? One of the most technologically advanced places on the planet relies on 19th-century technology for routine, critically important healthcare tasks?!?!?
Our impression of our product's awesomeness is likely biased by the fact that we think this way, though, as well as how much time and work we put into it. In order to make it even awesome-r we need to see it through your eyes and understand the clinical and administrative problems you encounter on a day-to-day basis. As such, we strongly value your feedback on anything and everything, including likes, dislikes, difficulties, irritations, and suggested features that would make your life easier. The site features a “contact us” link at the bottom of every page for this purpose, which we hope you will use often.
